- Communicate the requirements of our EMS to all persons working for or on behalf of the organisation
- Ensure that all our employees have the appropriate level of environmental awareness and training
- Promote resource efficiency and reduce emissions to air, land and water by:
- engaging in waste minimisation, re-use or re-cycling
- ensuring disposal of residual waste in an environmentally responsible manner in accordance with our duty of care obligations
- advising customers, particularly on the efficient use of energy and water
- Operate emergency procedures to prevent and limit environmental incidents
- Promote this policy throughout the company, to our subcontractors and clients, place it on our website and make it available to the public on demand
- Implement our EMS in accordance with the requirements of BS EN ISO14001:2004.
Managerial and supervisory staff have responsibilities for the implementation of this policy and will ensure that environmental issues are given adequate consideration in the planning and day-to-day supervision of all work.
